ArcTrain students at CMOS

52nd CMOS Congress & annual meeting
 
The Canadian Meteorological and Oceanographic Society congress was held in Halifax, NS from June 10th to June 14th 2018. The theme of this year's joint-conference was "Marine and environmental risks and impacts". 6 ArcTrain students and 1 postdoc attended the congress. They participated in the MEOPAR annual training and scientific meetings, the Early Career Professionals Panel, and toured the Bedford Institute of Oceanography before sharing a traditional lobster dinner in the Harbour. One of the PhD student, Nicole Marshall, even won the CMOS pitch talk competition! Here are a few photos of the event:
