Research topic: Paleoceanographic study of the Isfjorden fjord of Svalbard. The main objective is to trace the history of the dynamics of the glaciers of Svalbard and to establish a relation with the oceanic conditions of the fjords. To do this, sedimentological and paleontological analyzes will be conducted on sediments taken from the fjord. The crossing between CT-scan and XRF measurements with micropaleontological measurements will improve the resolution of the information collected on the glacial dynamics, the composition of the water masses and the evolution of the glacial margin.
