This year's Arctic change meeting will be held in Quebec city, at the Convention Center on December 11-15. The abstract deadline is now over but registration to attend the conferences and activities is now open. Please visit the official website for more information on the program and to register. The University of Bremen hosted ArcTrain's 4th annual meeting. From Sept 12nd to Sept 22nd 2017, ArcTrain Canada students met ArcTrain Germany's new cohort to participate in the annual summer school in Germany. Participants also attended lectures on Past, present and future of Arctic change and a series of short courses on expert skills in relation with their projects.

Banff Center for Arts and Creativity, located in Alberta, Canada hosted ArcTrain's 3rd annual meeting. From Sept 5th to Sept 12th 2016, 37 students participated in the joint Canadian-German ArcTrain summer school in the Canadian Rockies and attended a series of conferences on Socio-economic aspects of Global changes in the Arctic Realm.

ArcTrain annual meeting took place at UQAM in Montreal from September 2nd to September 4th, gathering Canadian and German students, their supervisors, PIs and members of the advisory board. The event followed the ArcTrain summer school 2015 in the Torngat mountains.

A reception, offered by the Consulate general of Germany, was held at UQAM Coeur des Sciences on September 1st to commemorate the opening of the annual meeting. At this occasion, the ArcTrain students who participated in the fieldtrip held a photo contest. The results can be viewed here.
